Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees
Sex: M
ID: 39060948

1 year old Great Pyrenees intact male dog. He’s a sweet lovable polar bear that just wants to come in and be a housepet; not good at guarding poultry. Chickens are fun to chase, more fun to chew on, and bonus- they taste great. Loves children, exceptionally gentle and careful with our 1 year old daughter. We are unable to keep Bentley in the house and he is unable to stay with us as a livestock guardian because of his habit of eating the birds. He is up to date on all vaccinations including optional vaccinations such as Leptospirosis and Bartonella. Bentley will need surgery on both shoulders at some point due to mild OCD (osteochondritis dissecans)- basically the cartilage is bad in his shoulders. He does run and play daily in 15 acres of field without any issue. Bentley is a great guard dog and will tell you of anything out of the ordinary, will chase off foxes, raccoons, ground hogs, coyotes, bears, etc. But if you have chickens, those are his favorite tasty toys. His dream home includes a great big fenced in yard, kids to play with, and a great big couch to snuggle on. He’s extremely lovable and sweet; just not able to stay at our farm any longer. Please open your heart to him!! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MORE INFORMATION ABOUT BENTLEY, PLEASE CONTACT HIS OWNER JENN @ 434-944-6479.
