Training Classes

Puppy Social – As much fun as the dog park can be, having an indoor, supervised environment to provide positive play opportunities for your puppy can be much more comfortable for you and your puppy. Proper early socialization will help your puppy confidently adjust to a wide variety of environments and experiences. If your dog is between 8 weeks and 5 months old, has at least their first round of vaccines, and you’re looking for a great way to tire out your puppy after work or socialize them to other dogs and people, then attend our Puppy Social. Cost per dog is $5 for 45 minutes of supervised play, Q&A with our Training and Behavior Coordinator, and meeting other local puppy owners. Tuesdays at 5pm-5:45pm.  Click here to sign up for Puppy Social.

Puppy K – Our puppy class is geared toward youngsters from 8 weeks to 5 months old. Together you’ll practice puppy manners (sit, lie down, pay attention, come when called), learn and share puppy parenting tips (resolve house-training, play-biting, jumping, chewing, and barking), and enjoy social time and positive exposure to other puppies, people, and new experiences. Our training classes are taught by a team of expert positive reinforcement trainers, so all puppies love attending Kindergarten! We meet weekly so come to as many or as few classes as you want, and pick what you want to learn each week for just $20 per class.  Tuesdays 6pm-7pm.  Click here to sign up for Puppy K.

Canine Good Citizen – This more advanced class is for dogs and people who already have some training experience and want to take it to the next level. We’ll focus on learning the skills needed for the dogs to pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen evaluation, including sitting for petting from strangers, walking on a loose leash through crowds, ignoring distractions, and separation from owners. Even if you’re not interested in taking the test, this class will push you and your dog to work as a team and learn essential life skills for modern dogs. Class will cost $120 for a 6 week session. Sundays, starting April 16th at 12pm-1pm.  Click here to sign up for Canine Good Citizen.

Homeroom Hotshots – This elementary manners training class is geared for dogs 5 months of age or older. Together you will build a solid foundation in manners, learning to sit, lie down, give focused attention, go to bed or crate, come when called, walk nicely on a leash, and greet people nicely. Learn the best and fastest training techniques to teach any behavior on your own, and begin to use these new skills in your home and out on the town! Class will cost $120 for a 6 weeks session.  Mondays 4:30-5:30pm, starting April 10th.

Control Unleashed! – Does your dog fixate on squirrels, become distracted when they see people or other dogs, forget everything they know once they go outside, or simply have a hard time focusing in new environments? Then Control Unleashed is for you! In this 6 week class your dog will learn to focus in the face of distractions and you’ll learn how to guide them toward better choices. You’ll have such fun in the New Year with a focused friend by your side! This class is perfect for puppies and dogs who have some basic manners already under their belt or have completed our Puppy K or Homeroom Hotshots class. This 6 week long class only costs $120. Class will cost $120 for a 6 weeks session.  Mondays 6pm-7pm, starting April 10th. Click here to sign up for Control Unleashed
