Meet Mister Mack. Mister Mack is a 5 year old working cat who spent most of his years outdoors living off of scraps. One day, a good Samaritan started caring for him and he learned over time that she was helping him. He loved her cats, and slowly became affectionate towards her. Unfortunately one day he got sick and had to come to LHS for treatment. He had a dental infection and had to have some of his teeth removed. Because of this, he can not be adopted as an outdoor cat. Fortunately, Mister Mack loves his comfy beds. Mister Mack does so well with other cats and we often catch him cuddling, and flirting with his roomates (he especially loves Mayo). When no one is watching Mister Mack loves to explore his surroundings and rub up against his cat friends. Mister Mack is sensitive, and get nervous in the fast paced nature of shelter life. Mister Mack may never become a lap loving cat, but a loving home shouldn't be reserved for affectionate cats alone. It should be a basic right for every cat. It doesn't take much to care for Mister Mack, just a kind heart and a willingness to be patient.
