This gorgeous orange guy, is Oliver 🧡! This summer Oliver was living outside. He was a tom cat and a kind community member in the neighborhood he was living in was caring for him, and working to gain his trust. When they noticed an injury on his paw and nose they contacted Stray Cat TNR for a trap. The very next day they took him to our clinic to get his basic needs met! He was afraid, but our staff was able to check out his paw and found there was a deep abscess, likely the result of a bite wound. Because he had been so fearful and seemed to prefer outdoor living, our friends at Stray Cat only planned to keep him in a quiet place indoors during the length of his recovery, and release him as soon as he was ready! To everyone’s surprise, he slowly became accustomed to being indoors, and even started trusting people! Once they realized he would be a great adoption candidate, they reached out to us to have him transferred to our care. Here he is now, with a healed paw and looking healthy as ever!
