If you hear a high-pitched squeak in our cat condos, fear not! It is not a mouse, but a little old lady cat named Jacklyn! Jacklyn is a cat who takes her wet food very seriously. Any time she hears someone open a can of food she will squeak until the cows come home. Jacklyn is almost 8 years old, only has two teeth, and is one of our longest stay cats at our Center for Pets. She’s been here since last June, after her owner passed away and 7 cats were brought to us. Out of all the cats she was surrendered with back then Jacklyn has been the most shy, but is making progress every day thanks to her love of wet food. She’s spent around 6 months or so in foster but now she’s back at the Center for Pets desperate to find her new home where she can rest and squeak to her heart's content.
