Meet Max!! Max is a fun-loving, energetic dog who's looking for an active home to match his adventurous spirit! Max’s favorite game is fetch, and he could play for hours. He needs an owner who enjoys outdoor activities and has the time to keep up with his energy levels. Max is housetrained and can be trusted to roam around the house alone without any issues. Max knows many commands such as heal, down, and sit, making him a great companion for an experienced owner who can appreciate his intelligence and needs. Though Max doesn’t do well with cats, he’s fantastic with non-dominant dogs and absolutely phenomenal with small dogs. His guardian breed instincts make him wary of strangers, so he would do best in a home where there are minimal unfamiliar faces. Max is very alert and reactive to movement around him. Max has not been around many children, but he would do well in a home with kids who understand and respect his boundaries.
