Meet our most talkative resident, Sahara. This girl has lived many lives and wants to share all of her stories and the progress she’s made, with you. Starting back in 2023 when Sahara was 6 years old she was surrendered to the shelter. Back then she was incredibly fearful, she had come from a hoarding situation. She was living among many cats, and while her owner tried their best we’re not sure how much one-on-one human interaction she got. But you’ll see that she’s come a long way since then!! In 2024 she was in an amazing foster home that helped her open up tremendously! She still needs patience and a calm environment, but when she trusts you, her purrs and endearing scratchy meow could make even the saddest person happy! Sahara’s favorite things are crunchy treats, morning chit chats, and chin scratches! We want to find a good home for Sahara and hope there’s someone out there that can be her peace and continue to help her grow.
