And just like that Isaac is heading home!!

We first shared Isaac’s story with you last week, after months of behind the scenes work from staff and fosters had already been going on. Isaac came to us with a severe, painful eye infection that had clearly been festering. When he arrived, both of his eyes were badly affected, one more than the other. We were able to save one of Isaac’s eyes but the other was too badly ruptured and had to be removed through enucleation. It took some time but Isaac was placed into a wonderful foster where he was gently guided through his healing journey.

Last week he graduated from foster, and this this precious little guy found his forever home shortly after. He was adopted by a young couple who fell in love with him immediately. (How could they not?)

Thank you so much to Isaac’s sweet adopters for taking him home, and of course his foster for giving him the patience, love, and strength needed to heal properly and be strong enough to take on this new journey.
