Construction Progress is being made on the new LHS Regional Vet Clinic!

The weather has been great for construction this past week, and it shows!  Crews have officially completed all underground plumbing, gas, and electrical infrastructure for the future Margaret Terrell Belcher Osteen Regional Veterinary Clinic. With this critical phase of construction now finished, workers are laying rock and preparing the site for the concrete slab pour — one of the most exciting milestones in the building process. Before long, the framework of this state-of-the-art veterinary clinic will begin taking shape.

The new regional veterinary clinic is expected to be completed by late November, with a grand opening anticipated in January 2027. Once open, the facility will significantly expand access to affordable veterinary care, preventive pet healthcare services, and high-quality animal medical treatment for families throughout the region. Designed to serve both pets and the people who love them, this modern animal healthcare center will provide compassionate veterinary services, wellness exams, surgical care, and community-focused pet resources.

This project represents a major investment in animal welfare, community services, and accessible veterinary care. The Margaret Terrell Belcher Osteen Regional Veterinary Clinic will help meet the growing demand for trusted veterinary care while supporting pet ownership across our region and beyond.

We are just shy of the $5 million mark toward our $7.5 million goal!  To help us reach our goal, please donate – there are naming opportunities available.  Every contribution, large or small, helps make this important community asset possible and brings us one step closer to opening the doors to expanded veterinary care in January 2027.
